Last week YSI was lucky enough to receive a helping hand from not one, but two groups of corporate supporters. On Thursday, September 15 Triumph Group, Inc.’s Wings community service team came to our Locust Mother/Baby Group Home to paint bedrooms and organize the house. Two days later employees of Vanguard, volunteering through the United Way’s Days of Caring, visited our Sunnycrest Family Support Center and reorganized lots of supplies and donations, and thoroughly cleaned large areas of the building.
Both groups have made significant contributions through their service, which has resulted in beautiful bedrooms and easier access to necessary items at Locust and a clutter-free building and client-friendly clothing “store” area at Sunnycrest. Thank you to Triumph Group, Inc. and Vanguard for your support – it is much appreciated.
