On Saturday, October 19th, YSI’s Youth Emergency Service shelter will host a fun and inspiring event benefiting homeless youth in Philadelphia. Featuring great music courtesy of Rashaun “DJ Reezy” Williams, delicious food, and a raffle with prizes including an Android tablet, this will be an evening to remember. This event, which takes place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, will be held in conjunction with events in San Diego and cities around the country to gain exposure for the nationwide youth homelessness crisis.
Admission, which includes dinner and a raffle ticket, is $15. If you want to support the event, but can’t stay, you’re welcome to pick up your dinner to go. You can also purchase additional raffle tickets for $3 a piece and take advantage of the delicious desserts at the event bake sale. Winning raffle numbers will be announced at the event and posted on YSI’s Facebook page afterwards for those unable to attend.
