Jefferson Donation Event for Youth Service, Inc.
Jefferson Medical and Health Science Bookstore has generously provided an opportunity for the Jefferson community to not only learn more about the programs Youth Service, Inc. provides for the Philadelphia community but to go one step farther with an additional opportunity to support those children and families receiving services from YSI. Your purchase of items such as toiletry products and school supplies will go directly to YSI and distributed to those children and families. This event will provide an opportunity to be introduced to the programs and resources YSI provides to Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.
YSI programs include: YES (Youth Emergency Service) Teen Shelter, Baring House Crisis Nursery, Family Empowerment Services, Teen Success and our Truancy Prevention. Come learn about volunteering, internship opportunities, job openings, holiday giving and ways you can contribute to our cause to fight youth homelessness and provide resources for at-risk families.
Other donation opportunities include our “Change to Create Change” donation jar and a donation drop box. Every donor will receive an ice cream sandwich courtesy of Aramark, as well as other gifts and giveaways.
