Volunteer Testimonials
“As I have been blessed with opportunity in life, I feel it is important to give back to the community. Through my volunteer experience at Baring House, I have connected with many inspiring individuals and grown personally. Watching and aiding in the development of the infants and children over the last 6 months has been more than I could’ve asked for.”- Caroline Quindlen, volunteer at Baring House Crisis Nursery.
“I believe that it is important to get involved in volunteering and donating your time to a cause that you believe in. If you have been fortunate in life, it is your duty as member of society to help those in need in any way you can, whether it be through volunteering or making a donation to a charity.”- Kien Nguyen volunteer at Youth Emergency Service.
“While volunteering at Baring House, I have learned so much about being able to provide the best care to children as possible. I love being able to understand the children’s needs and make their experience at Baring house that much better by reading to them and teaching them new things.”-Seherzada Softic volunteer at Baring House Crisis Nursery.
“Through volunteering we are able to build connections and give back to the communities that we live in, given the privileged positions that we often hold as volunteers. At YSI specifically, volunteering provides me with the tangible opportunity to witness the beautiful, transformative journey that youth take when provided with the opportunity and resources to flourish and grow.”- Maria Priyma volunteer at Baring House Crisis Nursery.
