Youth Service, Inc. invites you to brighten the holidays for children, teens, and caregivers living in poverty by participating in the agency’s holiday giving program. You can help Philadelphians who are struggling to make ends meet enjoy the holidays by adopting a family (providing a gift for each family member), organizing a gift collection drive, providing a holiday meal, or making a financial donation.
The holiday season places an inordinate amount of pressure on parents already struggling to make ends meet. YSI tries to support families that come to us for help with a bit of joy during the holiday season. This is our biggest program of the year, and we rely heavily on contributions from people like you to make this season a little brighter for those who need it.
Last year, our generous individual and group supporters, including Norton’s Tow Squad Inc., provided holiday presents for 172 YSI families and 454 children and teens living in poverty. With your help we hope to do the same thing this year.
You can get involved as an individual or as a member of a workplace, social group, place of worship, or family. For more information about holiday giving with Youth Service, Inc., click here or contact Kia Albertson-Rogers at 215-222-3262 ext. 1023 or volunteer@ysiphila.org.
