YSI is grateful to the Girls on the Run Team at Richmond School, made up of second to fifth graders. The team was lead by Carrie Hunter, a teacher and small business owner in Philadelphia. As part of their community impact project, the team collected toiletries and other items and voted YSI to be the recipient.
YSI Executive Director, Gwen Bailey, met the team at their school to receives the donation. They were excited to present their donations carefully packaged and decorated. They had questions about the agency and were happy to learn that their items would go to those who could use them.
